I finished a concept knife designed for Chef Edwin Bloodworth of The Gamekeeper in NC. Super light and sharp. To get this 11 inch paring / chef hybrid knife to weigh less than 140 grams I used carbon fiber arrows as pins to create a see through look in the Bocote wood. I took an old arrow and cut it into pin sized slices and then hand filed the holes to fit the arrows thickness. I’m not sure this has ever been done before, but this took a long time. The steel is 440c with a brushed finish and the handle is a Bocote wood with a bright blue racing stripe.
