40 Knives for IIB

We're happy to annouce that we'll be working with Independent Investment Bankers in Austin, TX to create custom, one of a kind corporate gifts this year. We're starting out with 40 co-branded hiking knives and will continue from there. Very cool project t hat we're happy to be apart of. See the first 10 below:

Finished a cool damascus chef knife.

We finished a knife for Ryan B. of Ft. Worth, TX today. The blade is in Devin Thomas stainless steel damascus, snake skin pattern. The handle is rosewood burl w/ a stripe of green Oregon maple. The pins are handmade star mosaics. Very cool knife. Thanks for being patient Ryan!

Great set of custom knives completed.

We finished a great set of knives for Chef Orthmann in Boston, MA this week. He chose a different wood for each knife, but did each bolster in black linen micarta. Handmade mosaic pins in stainless to add some decoration. All knives are in S35VN.

Weige Knives refurbishes Vietnam War era knife.

We refurbished an heirloom knife for a customer in Leander, TX this week. It was his father's knife that he carried during the Vietnam war. Reclaimed wood knife.

The reclaimed wood knife. We built this 6" chef (10.5" overall) from 440c stainless steel made here in the US. The handle material is stabilized, spalted red oak taken from a wood worker's scrap pile in Georgetown, TX and the bolster is mahogany sourced from a Westlake Hills cabinet job one of our customers finished.
