Weige Knives as guest speaker at La Condesa

Thanks to La Condesa Austin for having Dirk Michener and I as guest speakers at their employee event. We've never had to speak about knives for an hour, but we hope it was half interesting. Also, very cool to see the historic, secret room below the building.

Reclaimed wood knife.

The reclaimed wood knife. We built this 6" chef (10.5" overall) from 440c stainless steel made here in the US. The handle material is stabilized, spalted red oak taken from a wood worker's scrap pile in Georgetown, TX and the bolster is mahogany sourced from a Westlake Hills cabinet job one of our customers finished.
