I’m really enjoying linen micarta for knife handles. It has such a clean look w/ deep colors that contrast wood really well. I tried something different on this 14 inch chef knife using the material. I put black linen micarta on the handle w/ black linen micarta pins to give the pins a hidden, flush look. There are 4 black pins in the black part of the handle. I used neon green liners for contrast. The bolster is stabilized, spaulted maple burl w/ a single stainless steel pin. I like the seamless look of this one. It’s a huge knife with around 5 inches of handle and 9 inches of blade. I can’t decide if I should keep it or sell it, but I enjoyed making it.
